Best customer costume of the night went to the three army men from Toy Story.
Their whole bodies were the same shade of fluorescent green. It hurt my eyes a little, but it warmed my soul.
When they come through my till, and I can’t tell if they’re in costume or just going out.
“What are you supposed to be?”
“A slut.”
Note to self: No more Halloween costumes with long skirts. Not conducive to drunkenly climbing the stairs of my apartment.
Spoilers Ahead…
Sometimes I wonder if we were all watching the same special. She told Jake that she thought about kissing Eli, but during their not-moment in the woods, there were no indications whatsoever that that was her intention. No romantic music, no slow lean-in, and there was a good foot between them the entire scene. That doesn’t look like a *moment* to me, that looks like a conversation.
Now, she professed to Jake that she thought about kissing Eli. Now, I don’t know about the rest of you, but I entertain the idea of doing a lot of terribly rude things in the average day, particularly when irritated, but that doesn’t mean I’ve ever actually smashed a customer over the head with their giant sack of kitty litter, told my classmates that they’re an idiot and should shut up or killed my housemate’s boyfriend.
The crucial missing piece to that particular conversation is that Clare did not explain why she couldn’t go through with it. Because she’s in love with Jake? Because it would be petty and selfish? Because it would be completely unfair to Eli?
My point is, however irritated people are with Clare’s behaviour towards Alli, just because she admitted to thinking about doing something petty and selfish doesn’t mean she would have gone through with it if she hadn’t been interrupted. She thought about it. She’s human. She didn’t do it, though, did she?
It irks me when people expect Clare to apologize for the way she treated Eli during their break-up, but nobody is bothered by the fact that he never apologized for that play crap.
Despite seeing apologies for Fiona, Imogen and Jake, we’ve never seen him admit how absolutely cruel it was for him to play with her head like that. Making Clara the hero was decent of him, I suppose, but despite the fact that Clare almost always apologizes immediately when her behaviour toward Eli gets out of line, he’s never said sorry to her.
I don’t really understand Drew’s terror during Nowhere to Run.
Everybody knows the virgins always live.
For ten years, our heroine attended T.F. Elementary School, protecting her fragile heart by wrapping herself up in the fact that she had simply unfortunately stumbled upon the stupidest collection of boys the world had ever seen.
Unbeknownst to both, our hero went ravine exploring not twenty feet from where she and her friends had recess.
Errbody wanted all up on Snake, let’s be honest.
I get that everybody hears that 1 Corinthians verse and wants to apply it to their OTP, but I strongly encourage eclare shippers to think through the ‘jealous’, ‘arrogant’ and ‘insist on its own way’ portions before they begin their laments about how ‘perfectly’ that verse fits them.

Eli searched the woods looking for Clare…..
(via lovemesomedegrassi)
You are implying that Eli intends to kill her for cheating on him….
Alli listing all the murder weapons from Clue was probably my favourite line though.
